Summer morning haze

Inspired by the wildflower beds, Summer Morning Haze captures the soft colours and gentle movement of a Yorkshire summer morning. Layers of sage greens, blush pinks, lavender tones and warm whites evoke the feeling of wandering through flowers in the early hours of the day, when the light is soft and everything feels calm and still.

Created using loose, expressive brushstrokes and delicate layers of colour, this original acrylic painting sits between floral landscape and abstract impressionism. Foxgloves, daisies and grasses emerge through the paint, creating a dreamlike scene inspired by nature and memory rather than a literal view.
